Tomorrow’s our first race, and I’m so excited for everyone to have this experience together!
For those who didn’t see the setup today, here’s what to expect:
We’ll have a team tent set up as a home base—great spot to hang out, rest, and regroup. It’ll be next to the Tahoma tent. It doesn’t have a logo but it is bright blue.
A camp stove will be going in the morning to reheat some breakfast burritos for anyone who wants a pre-race meal or post race breakfast for the early racers.
After the races, we’ll be grilling hot dogs and serving baked beans, along with fresh fruit, veggies, and drinks from the cooler as we wait for the awards and podium ceremony.
Parents and siblings—we brought plenty of food, so please feel free to join in and eat with us!
A few quick notes:
Please be there by 8:30 a.m. so we have time to check over your bike and make sure you’re warmed up before your race.
If your race time is later, I encourage you to come out early and cheer on your younger teammates.
And if you finish early, please stick around to support your older teammates—the energy really helps!
The podium and awards ceremony is at 3:00 p.m., and it’s always a fun way to cap off the day.
We have one foldable bench that fits six, so bring folding chairs if you want a seat.
Hydrate well tonight so you’re ready to ride strong tomorrow!
